On Wednesday (11/20) PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk carried out the signing of a Cooperation Agreement with the Banten High Prosecutor 

Present at the activity was the Head of the Banten High Prosecutor's Office Dr. Siswanto. S.H., M.H. and his staff, Plt. President Director of Krakatau Steel Akbar Djohan and his staff, as well as the President Director of Krakatau Steel Group.

On his occasion, Plt. President Director of Krakatau Steel Akbar Djohan welcomed the signing of this cooperation agenda.

“We, the Board of Directors of Krakatau Steel Group, warmly welcome and support the cooperation between Krakatau Steel Group and Banten High Prosecutor's Office through this Cooperation Agreement as a form of Krakatau Steel Group's commitment in prioritizing aspects of compliance and good governance in every business activity,” Akbar said.

Krakatau Steel Group and Affiliates are committed to prioritizing aspects of compliance with laws and regulations and good corporate governance, therefore KS Group needs legal assistance as a preventive measure which in this case is provided by the Banten High Prosecutor's Office.

As one of the business development efforts and as a form of continuous performance improvement, currently KS Group is carrying out a number of corporate actions so that it requires legal assistance from the Banten High Prosecutor's Office so that all activities remain in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

With this Cooperation Agreement, we hope to further enhance the cooperation between Krakatau Steel Group and Banten High Prosecutor's Office so that Krakatau Steel Group's compliance can be maintained.

“We also hope that this cooperation can be a means of establishing a mutually developing relationship with each other,” Akbar concluded.
