Cilegon, May 1, 2026, as part of its efforts to strengthen the company’s social commitment to the community, the Krakatau Steel Group, through its subsidiary PT Krakatau Sarana Infrastruktur, once again carried out the “Krakatau Steel Cares for Banten” program in the form of the “Blessed Friday” initiative. A total of 500 ready-to-eat meal packages were distributed to students on Friday (May 1) at the Al-Jauharotunnaqiyyah Central Islamic Boarding School in Cibeber. A warm atmosphere filled the air as the students, who had just finished Friday prayers, received the aid, making this moment not merely an act of sharing but also a way to strengthen the bond between the company and the surrounding community.
This activity is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to support community welfare, particularly within the company’s immediate vicinity. Ahmad Iqbal, Vice President of Corporate Secretary at PT Krakatau Sarana Infrastruktur, stated, “Our hope is that we can share with stakeholders or the local community so that everyone can feel the benefits, and to encourage the Krakatau Steel Group—especially KSI, to remain sustainable, prosperous, and bring welfare to all.”
The head of the Al-Jauharotunnaqiyyah Islamic Boarding School in Cibeber, KH.
