Krakatau Urban Valley, an asset optimization project of Krakatau Steel's housing complex

Since 1970, Krakatau Steel has been known as the largest steel company in Indonesia and has become an integrated steel company with subsidiaries that support infrastructure businesses such as ports, water, electricity and industrial areas which are part of the Krakatau Sarana Infrastruktur sub-holding. This is an attraction for investment both locally and internationally which can support the economy of Cilegon city. Cilegon itself is strategically located in the center of the Java-Sumatra corridor, which is equipped with national roads, toll roads, railway and ports. 

Along with the plan to increase the capacity of the steel and petrochemical industries in Cilegon, Krakatau Sarana Infrastruktur sees this as an opportunity to capture market needs related to residential and commercial in Cilegon city. Currently, Krakatau Steel has an employee housing complex that is not well optimized. In order to optimize Krakatau Steel's assets, we at Krakatau Sarana Infrastruktur have launched an independent city development project called Krakatau Urban Valley (KUV). 

Krakatau Urban Valley has a total area of 270 Ha where the visioning Master Plan was created by a well-known consultant, Surbana Jurong Indonesia. Carrying the Green and Smart City concept, Krakatau Urban Valley becomes a residential, office and commercial area equipped with supporting facilities such as clean water, electricity, public transportation and other supporting facilities such as golf, hospitals, schools, hotels and MICE, and others. Krakatau Urban Valley is expected to become a new-core business for Krakatau Steel and Group in the future.

Krakatau Sarana Infrastruktur opens opportunities for collaboration with potential investors who are interested in jointly developing the Krakatau Urban Valley project.
