PT Krakatau Chandra Energi (KCE) is synergizing with PT Krakatau Tirta Industri (KTI) in designing a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) on the Nadra Reservoir, Cilegon. This project plan is one of our commitments to sustainable energy.

 

The solar power plant, which is planned to cover 20% of the reservoir area, will have a capacity of 32 megawatts and is one of our efforts to provide environmentally friendly energy sources.

 

We are committed to making a positive impact and prioritizing sustainability and safety for the surrounding environment. Therefore, the project, which is estimated to be completed in 2 years, is still in the eligibility and research stage. PT KCE is designing a comprehensive study plan to ensure the sustainability of this project. In the process, we are considering aspects of biota and environmental impacts on the surrounding community.

 

In addition to providing Floating PLTS, we are also trying to support the government through the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation Number 01 of 2023 by creating a Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station (SPKLU). PT KCE has successfully built SPKLU at Krakatau Royale Hotel and Grogol Gas Station. Now, PT KCE is trying to add SPKLU units in Jakarta, precisely at Wisma Barito which will start operating in September 2023.

Through renewable energy projects owned by PT KCE, we hope to continue to innovate to build a sustainable future.
